A GROUP of Bewdley fund-raisers who call themselves the "Chamber Maids" are inviting people to take stalls at a charity food event.
Chamber of Trade members, Anne Lyman, Margaret Dalloway and Barbara Stallwood want to help raise money for charity and heighten the profile of the town with a series of events.
A food day is taking place on Saturday, July 16 with activities including riverside stalls and competitions.
Events will take place at the Load Street venues of the Guildhall, St Anne's Church and St George's Hall. Organiser, Margaret Dalloway, has asked for everybody in the town to support the event.
She said: "We are hoping to have a number of stalls selling all sorts of different food stuffs. It would be great to have stalls selling food from all over the world.
"Anyone can take part, including businesses and it promises to be a great day."
Other planned events include a fun activity day in August and an art weekend in September, which will include workshops and exhibits.
For further information on all the events contact Margaret Dalloway on 01299 403340 or Anne Lyman on 01384 238729.
