LAUREN Cryer is looking forward to her big day as Wolverley's carnival princess when villagers will turn out for the event on Saturday.
She earned the title in a three-cornered contest with Christine Tolley and Cassie Hyrons.
Lauren's hobbies range from gymnastics and trampolining to drama and singing.
Wolverley's carnival rosebud will be Tamika Reid, who went one better than in last year's competition, when she was runner-up. She likes dancing, reading and music.
Runner-up in the rosebud competition this year was Sophie Berry.
The other rosebud entrants were Claire Tolley and Tiffany Lois Maiden, and Khia and Kayleigh Lemart.
