A COACHLOAD of Wyre Forest churchgoers and environmentalists will be among the thousands of campaigners in Edinburgh this weekend.
The 49 people will be taking part in The Make Poverty History march that is taking place ahead of the G8 summit of the world's eight richest nations at Gleneagles on Saturday.
The campaigners will be wearing white, the colour that has been adopted as a symbol for the cause.
One of the organisers, Vicky Dunn, explaining the purpose of the trip, said: "This is the year to try and sort out the world's problems. We have the opportunity to address issues like poverty and climate change.
"By peacefully marching we can place pressure on the world's leaders to make the change possible."
