AN American construction equipment manufacturer has appointed a Little Witley-based business as its authorised dealer for the West Midlands.
Bobcat, located in North Dakota and which makes mini-diggers and loaders, has concluded a deal for Bobcat (Midlands) to supply its range to the UK Midlands.
The Little Witley operation is owned and managed by husband and wife, Adam and Anna Drew.
Mr Drew, who has worked in the local plant hire and sales industry for 26 years, said: "We have made an initial investment of over £100,000 in the venture and we will be providing a full service, including rental, repairs, spares and new machine sales."
Bobcat, formed in 1947, has more than 900 dealers in 75 countries.
