JAZZ, blues and rock of the highest order is on the menu at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall over the next week.
Jazz giant Kenny Ball heads the line-up. With his Jazzmen, he has been 50 years entertaining audiences all over the world, clocking up more top 30 records than any other jazz artist and they all come to Worcester on July 1 for an 8pm concert sure to be packed with fans.
Paul Jones and Dave Kelly, singers with the famous Blues Band, take the stage on July 5. Paul Jones - singer, songwriter, former Manfred Mann singer and award-winning bluesman - is also well known nowadays as a DJ on Radio 2 and Jazz FM. Dave Kelly is known as one of the best slide guitarists in the country, as well as four times being voted Acoustic Artist of the Year by the British Blues Connnection.
Then on Friday, July 8, Limehouse Lizzy pay their tribute to 70s Irish rockers Thin Lizzy, as they have been doing to much acclaim for the last 11 years, earning a reputation as one of the hardest-working and most exciting live acts.
