OVER 60 former pupils and teachers from a village school in Worcestershire have been reunited - some after several decades.
Knightwick School shut its doors in 1959 but happy memories of it proved to be still fresh in the minds of those who were part of its history.
Geraldine Cooper, who organised last weekend's reunion, said people came from all over the country to be at the event, which
was held in Knightwick Village Hall at the weekend.
"It was absolutely wonderful," she said.
"The event even managed to reunite a few families as well."
Knightwick School saw more than 1,000 children pass through its classes when it was open between 1888 and 1959.
