ALL officers were returned un-opposed for next season at the annual general meeting of the Mercian Festival Junior Football League held at the Bell Inn, St Johns, Worcester.
A record amount of teams are due to participate next season. However, there is still some room to accommodate U8s and girls' U11s. Interested parties contact Den Smallman 01905 421468.
Clubs are reminded that players' registration cards will not be issued until registration fees are paid. The deadline is today (Friday) and payments received after this date will not guarantee acceptance to the league.
The following new clubs were elected to join the league: AFC Worcester, Alcester Athletic, Alvechurch Lions, Bromsgrove Town Girls, Headless Cross, Kingfisher Colts, Malvern Town, Ombersley Terriers, Stourport Royals, Westbury Celtic, West Hagley and Kinver Colts.
Paul Tyler was presented with the referee of the year trophy prior to the meeting by league chairman George Silverman.
