ELITE category cyclist Jon Dayus confirmed his class and repeated his previous win with a clear first place in the Velo Club Sevale's 25-mile time trial held last week on the Kinnersley course.
On a fast, warm evening, two riders managed to beat the 'magic hour', with another four being less than a minute outside.
The full results were: J Dayus 55.12, G Poupart 57.33, W Davies 60.10, B Boswell 60.23, D Walker 60.34, M Amery 60.41, S O'Toole 65.58, B Mellor 66.30, C Smallman 66.43, T Knight 70.27, H Treadwell 77.16, S Price DNF.
The next event is the club championship 10-mile time trial, which will be held on Thursday (July 7), starting from Chance Lane at 7.30pm.
The club also runs a regular Sunday morning ride, starting from Barnards Green island at 9am.
