THE annual friendly rivalry between the English and Scottish members of the Bransford Golf Club came to the fore as they played for the Bannockburn Cup.
Singles matchplay were the order of the day and the English saw off the Scots in an unusually one-sided affair.
However, all rivalries were quickly abandoned in the clubhouse when all that mattered was making money for St Richard's Hospice. The event this year was organised and sponsored by Mr Brian Caulfield of Starcase Ltd, a Worcester business.
A great days golf raised over £1,300 for the hospice.
