A TEENAGER has been recognised for the enthusiasm and motivation she shows for her job in a work-experience placement.
Rachel Morse, aged 19, from St John's Worcester, won the Ann Oliver-Callaghan Award for Commitment to Training for her work at the Security Industry Training Organis-ation in Barbourne during the past year.
It was presented to her by Nick Owen, anchorman of BBC Midlands Today at the Worcester Group Training Association.
Miss Morse went to the ceremony to receive her NVQ Level 2 certificate in administration, but was also the surprise winner of the work experience award.
"It was a really big shock and my course-mates said that my face was a picture when they announced my name," said Miss Morse.
"I'm really pleased with both passing my NVQ Level 2 and receiving the award. It will certainly encourage me to go on and do the best I can in my NVQ Level 3."
