Wychavon District Council has managed to turn its poor housing sector into an award winning service.
The turnaround has taken just two years and the authority is now the only district council in the country to hold a double excellent award for its housing service.
Managing director Jack Hegarty, Coun Judy Pearce, head of strategy and communications Fiona Narburgh and the housing team took to the stage on Monday to celebrate the event.
Executive board member for Housing, Coun Judy Pearce, said: "The hard work and commitment of out housing teams means we have had a successful and speedy turnaround."
A film crew had captured the two-year turnaround, and the short film was shown at the celebration.
The film covered issues such as working in partnership, homelessness and private sector housing.
