THE White Hart pub in College Street, Worcester, raised £800 to help a little girl with lung cancer. The pub put on a sponsored chest wax, raffle and auction to raise money for five-year-old Danielle Hefti, of Dalegarth Court in Warndon, and cancer research. The Worcester News reported in May how Danielle, who attends Warndon Infant School, was diagnosed with Wilms Tumour - a type of lung cancer. Mark Cooper, pictured, who underwent the painful waxing, raised £181 towards the total. Gary Probert, of the White Hart, said he wished to thank all the businesses who donated prizes for the raffle.
