ON June 26, the association hosted a very successful Cookhill Garden Tours event.
Nine local residents opened up their gardens to the public and the number of visitors on a fine sunny day far exceeded those in previous years. The plant sale and cake stall also proved very popular.
The organising committee would like to express their appreciation to those residents who opened their gardens and to everyone who donated plants and cakes.
A donation will be made to the Where Next Association in Redditch which provides horticultural work experience to young people with learning difficulties.
The next event with be on Monday July 11 when there will be a visit to the Alpine Garden Society at Pershore College.
