A BROMSGROVE martial arts club is gearing up to promote safety during National Self-Defence Week. RIGHT MOVES: Self defence expert Ray Heatherington practices a move on Martin Shaw.
The British Free Fighting Association (BFFA), based in Aston Fields, has a host of activities over the week, which runs between July 11 and 15.
Founders Andy and Sharon Hopwood will be at the event's opening, which is outside Birmingham radio station Heart FM on Broad Street.
Andy Hopwood will also be showing staff from Hewell Grange, Brockhill and Blakenhurst prisons in Tardebigge and local people how to defend themselves from attackers.
Sharon Hopwood said: "We feels it's vitally important that normal people can get themselves out of dangerous situations."
