ANGRY Redditch businessman Ken O'Dell has called "enough" after what he claims is unfair hounding by the tax-man.
50-years-old Mr O'Dell, of Oakly Road, is buying a caravan to live the life of a nomad and escape the demands of the Inland Revenue.
Mr O'Dell, a self-employed businessman with a small market garden near Evesham and a wrought iron business which he conducts from his home, is winding up his affairs and opting out for good.
He is taking his 31-year-old wife Wendy and his two children, Tina, aged 10 and four-year-old Joe.
He made his decision after tax officials' demands to see his post office savings book, bank statements and business records.
"I'm choked," he said.
"I've had enough of the entire system and this is the final straw. It's taken me 50 years to come to my senses, but I have got there at last."
But this week a spokesman from Redditch Tax Office denied that undue pressure had been put on Mr O'Dell.
