OMBERSLEY kept the pressure on Worcester League Division One leaders Kington with a demolition of Astwood Bank on Saturday. WICKET TAKER: Neil Slade, who took 8-27, sends in another dangerous delivery.
Bowler Neil Slade was a constant thorn in Astwood's side as he took eight wickets for just 27 runs to dismiss them for a 68 runs.
Batsman Duncan Catterall then guided Ombersley to a comfortable victory as they made 72-3.
Victory means that Omberlsey are only trailing Kington by five points.
Omberlsey take on Eastnor away from home on Saturday (1.30pm start).
