Belbroughton won by 147 runs
BELBROUGHTON inflicted more misery on struggling Harborne with an emphatic batting performance in the Worcester League Division Two on Saturday.
Lee Nightingale (83) and Dan Attwood (47) lead the way with the bat as the Tons recorded a formidable 272 all out.
Andy Farmer then took six wickets for 36 runs to demolish Belbroughton's Birmingham based opponent's batting order as they crumbled to 125 all out.
Captain Hayward said: "It was a brilliant performance by the whole team. The batsmen did a great job, but our bowlers were excellent."
Belbroughton, who are third in the table, go to fifth placed Netherton on Saturday (1.30pm start). In Division Five Belbroughton beat Barnards Green by five wickets, keeping them to 205-7 and hitting 206-5 in reply.
