DROITWICH moved to the top of the Fearnley Worcestershire Sunday League after a powerful display of batting against Pershore.
Gareth Thomas took 3-28 as Pershore were kept to 159-9 in their 45 overs.
Jermone Connor then smashed 78, as Droitwich cruised to 160-2 for an eight-wicket victory.
Bromsgrove were far too strong for Worcester as they inflicted a 181 run defeat on their county neighbours.
The Boars hit 340-5 and then bowled Worceter out for 159.
In the Second XI Division Barnt Green gained maximum points after Astwood Bank conceded the match.
Bromsgrove lost to Worcester by nine wickets.
They were bowled out for 140 and Worcester made 141-1 in reply.
Leaders Ombersley made short work of Droitwich in a 104 run victory.
John O'Neill hit 67 as Ombersley made 250-6, before Droitwich were bowled out for 146.
The victory left Ombersley, who have won all seven of their league games, with a six-point lead over second placed Kidderminster.
