It was service with a smile for the children of a Bromsgrove school when they held a Wimbledon day.
Pupils at Catshill First School, in Gibb Lane, learned to love the sport as they were given coaching by the Worcestershire Lawn Tennis Association, which provided all the equipment.
"Quite a few of the children were interested in taking it up," said deputy head Jackie Harris.
"It was so successful, we're hoping the Association will come back in September to do some more coaching."
The older children among the 310 pupils were given coaching sessions while the younger ones played tennis games. Chadsgrove School also joined in the fun.
