THE town's music festival started with a bang with hundreds of culture loving Spa folk enjoying the Stourport brass band in the lido park on Sunday afternoon.

Chairman of the music festival committee Richard Brighton said: "It has gone really well so far. We have been really pleased by turnouts and the atmosphere has been brilliant."

Talented youngsters also helped keep the library users entertained during Monday lunchtime with their beautifully rehearsed songs.

Droitwich Spa library manager Val Booler said: "We were delighted to be involved in the music festival and were happy for the library to be used as a venue."
