FUTEBOL do Salao Brazil-ian Soccer Schools Academy Training Centre will be running Academy classes for children who would like to pursue their football career to a professional standard.

The aim is to get local children prepared for trials with local professional clubs. There is access to the clubs and matches will be played against professional Academy teams on a regular basis.

One of the centre students has just been signed up on a two-year contract with Aston Villa and are on trial with other clubs around the Midlands.

Players are needed for the under 7s, 8s, 9s, 10s and 11s. If you feel that you might know of a special talent that has not yet been discovered, ring 01789 778434.

Representatives from professional clubs will be attending the trial day, which will be held at Evesham High School on Sunday with training sessions will be held on Tuesday nights at Bredon School, near Tewkesbury.

They defeated league champions Gotherington in the semi-final before seeing off Southside Cubs on penalties in the final.
