CAMERON Brodie, a member of Evesham Swimming Club, competed at the Scottish National Age Group Championships in Glasgow.
Brodie, who attends St Egwin's Middle School, reached the final of the 11/12-year 100m butterfly and finished a highly creditable seventh out of 50, being ranked number five, based on his times.
Competing in a number of long course events, the Harvington youngster, swimming against competitors from Dubai, Scandinavia, South Africa and Australia, was also 12th out of the 45 swimmers in the 200m butterfly.
