CRANES music store, in the historic heart of Worcester, has been offering expert advice and selling quality instruments for over 20 years.

The store, at 26 New Street, started out selling organs and pianos and then as the market evolved and the needs of the consumers changed, it began to expand. With the development of digital technology you can now buy very high quality keyboards which are smaller than pianos and fit comfortably into almost every modern home.

Digital pianos are more compact than ordinary pianos but benefit from the sound of a grand rather than an upright. Imagine practising piano with headphones on -- now you can!

Couple this with the reliability of an instrument which has no moving parts and never needs tuning and you begin to see why they are

becoming increasingly popular.

Also, with prices for these fabulous new digital pianos starting at just £599, the models on sale in Cranes are also affordable.

At Cranes Music you will not only find fantastic instruments, but also expert advice. Every member of staff is a musician in their own right.

They are friendly, helpful and offer an extremely high quality service which puts them a cut above their competitors.

The store sells a range of quality guitars priced for beginners, both electric and acoustic. Full size drum kits for beginners are in store, and also on display is an excellent selection of sheet music.

Cranes Music's affiliation with the Musical Instrument Finance Company helps out those customers who wish to make larger purchases with offers including interest free credit. Finance is available subject to status and terms and conditions.

Managing director Steve Grice is passionate about music education and he is extremely proud to have a Yamaha Music School based in store.

Under the umbrella of Worcester Academy of Music, they teach a total of 500 students a week and offer courses in keyboard, piano, guitar, contemporary singing and drums.

Keeping in line with their vision to further music education, the store have equipped a number of local state schools with keyboards and have their teachers travel there to teach.

The courses are QCA approved and students can follow a Trinity Guildhall exam syllabus to ensure they are accredited at all stages of their learning.

As they plan ahead Cranes Music will continue to get children and adults alike excited about music and encourage them to learn instruments. It is after all an established fact that learning an instrument improves not only mathematical and reading skills but also increases the quality of your life.

In the run up to Christmas, Cranes Music has some fantastic offers on instruments, as well as discounts on accessories and music lessons.
