THE industrial conurbation of Birmingham may be just up the road but here in the Bromsgrove and Droitwich area our countryside is a busy and productive area on the farming front.
A number of local farmers and breeders regularly secure success at major agricultural shows with their animals.
Pictured are John and Brenda Taylor from Catshill, who breed Southdown sheep. This lamb from their Hillcrest flock was the Supreme Champion ewe lamb in the Any Other Lowland Sheep Breed at the annual Three Counties Show in Malvern.
