BIG Brother and The Holding Company are best known for backing Janis Joplin at the legendary Monterey festival in 1967 and on the 'Cheap Thrills' album.

After splitting in 1972, they reformed in 1986 with original members Peter Albin, Sam Andrew and Dave Getz and now singer Kitto.

They'll be joined by Fairport Convention session guitarist Jerry Donahue for a gig at the Robin 2, Bilston, on Thursday August 24.
