THERE are still some tickets available for this weekend's Eastnor Big Chill.
The music begins tomorrow from noon but you can turn up from this evening (Thursday) to pitch your tent and settle in to the deer park vibe.
This home-grown event (it began in the foothills of the Black Mountains) is famed for not just its uber cool line-up but the distinctly laid back crowd it attracts.
Special treats this year include Sparks playing through 20 years of hits, the ever-so-cute Lily Allen playing one of her first festival gigs, the amazing 45-piece Heritage Orchestra playing their first UK festival set and Scritti Politti, whose new album is shortlisted for a Mercury prize.
New for 2006 is a reggae and dub dancehall featuring top DJs like Nick Menessah, DJ Derek and Bam Bam.
The Media Miz tent brings the worldwide multimedia West End hit sensation that is The Blue Man Group to a festival for the first time, along with comedy from Guy Pratt and Arthur Smith.
There's also lots more loos, lots more showers and lots more stewards to make the weekend a sweeter experience for everyone.
Check out the website at www.bigchill.net for details and ticket links.
