AN exhibition of work by Doug Eaton is on show at Apple Store Gallery in Brockhampton.
Doug's vibrant studies of the woods, ponds and hills around the Forest of Dean and South Herefordshire are delicious.
Work ranges from his contemplative studies of some of the hidden corners of the forest to his recent experiments with paint and colour in capturing the essence of the landscape.
Around the walls are new works from the gallery's regular artists, including digital images from photographer Sam Hughes and contrasting works from Denise Salmon.
The gallery is open Thursday to Sunday, 11am-4pm and on Thursdays, Peggy Laws is in the gallery and can offer hints and tips on watercolour and acrylic painting.
