KATESHILL HOUSE
A charity lunch held at Kateshill House in Bewdley raised £4,000 for the Acorns Hospice in Worcester.
The event on July 2 also featured an auction and a raffle, and organiser Kath Eaton is grateful for the amount of support and generous sponsorship from the local community: "Everyone had a good time on the day, but most importantly the money will benefit many children and families at the hospice."
SKY'S THE LIMIT
A team of five employees from Countrywide Farmers near Pershore completed a daring 10,000 ft skydive on July 1, to raise money for Worcester-based charity Leukaemia CARE. The team hopes to have raised £2,000 in sponsorship, which will benefit those living with leukaemia, lymphoma and allied blood disorders. For more information see www.run4leukaemia.org.uk.
