MALVERN Theatre Players are holding auditions for their new production of Alan Aykbourn's play Comic Potential.
The comedy, a farce which is set in the future, will be staged in the Forum Theatre from October 18-21.
It is a future where everything has changed except human nature and the play follows an alcoholic TV director trying to make a new television series with malfunctioning android actors or "actoids".
The play combines Aykbourn's trademark comedy with a look at the precarious nature of love and will be performed "in the round" as the writer intended.
Open auditions will be held at Theatre House, Grange Road, Malvern, on Tuesday (July 18) and Thursday (July 20), at 7.30pm.
The play needs a large cast with parts for both men and women aged between 20 and 80. For further information, call Chris Bassett on 01684 569011.
