THE entertainment secretary of a Kidderminster venue hopes the sounds of the 60s will prove a major draw for people who grew up listening to the beat groups of that era.
Steve Jones, of the Harriers Social Club at Aggborough, has lined up a series of Saturday night concerts for the autumn.
Mr Jones said he was booking the acts in response to demand from townspeople who had been fans of groups during the 1960s.
The line-up of acts will be Herman's Hermits, with comedian, Doug Parker and vocalist, Elspeth, on August 12.
Con and Dec, of the Bachelors, return to Wyre Forest for the sixth time in two years, with Dec's daughter, Victoria, presenting her tribute to Kylie Minogue and Bobby Thompson, from the Rockin Berries also on the bill, on September 16.
Liverpool comedian, Stan Boardman, recently in the charts with his own World Cup song, brings his cabaret show to the club on September 30.
Other stars lined up for future visits include Craig Douglas, Black Country comedian, Tommy Mundon, the Dakotas and the Dreamers.
