FANS of swing music are set for double their pleasure when there is a battle of the bands at the Spadesbourne Suite on Friday, March 31.
Swing outfits The Crown Phoenix Big Band and Blue Big Band will battle it out in what is set to be an entertaining evening.
Both 17 piece bands play swing music from legends such as Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and many others.
The concert is named after the 'Battle of the Bands' which were held at New York's Savoy Ballrooms before World War II.
Tickets for the gig at the Spadesbourne Suite, in Burcot Lane, costs £6 and can be bought by calling Jan Wooley on 01527 881378. The show starts at 7.30pm.
