MOBILE LIBRARY: The next visits of the Gloucestershire Mobile Library will be on Tuesdays, March 14 and 28 calling at Collin Close between 2.40pm and 3pm and at the Bell Inn from 3.05pm to 3.35pm.

MOBILE POLICE STATION: The next visit will be on Friday, March 24 between 9.45am and 10am. For calls other than emergency 999 telephone 0845 090 1234.

ANNUAL PARISH MEETING: The annual parish meeting will be held in the village hall on Wednesday, March 22 at 7.30pm. All residents are invited to attend and raise any matter of local or general interest. Clubs and societies are asked to make an annual report of their activities, these should be forwarded to the clerk or read by a member at the meeting.

MISS NASH BEQUEST FUND: Any Willersey organisation or individual wishing to apply for a grant must send in their request to the village hall secretary, Phil Bennett, 2, Ley Orchard, Willersey by March 31. The next village hall committee meeting will be held in the hall on Wednesday, April 12 at 7.30pm.

WILLERSEY FOOTLIGHTS: The Willersey Footlights are celebrating its 20th anniversary with a grand ball on Saturday, March 18. An invitation to all past and present members, performers and back-stage crew, is extended and enquiries may be made to Neville Jelfs (01386 858351). Rehearsals are now under way for the next show on October 6 and 7.

WEDNESDAY CLUB: At the second February meeting Paul McGuire, a former Butlins Red-coat, gave a very entertaining insight to work at the Butlins Holiday Camps in the 1950s. The March meetings will have David Howe giving a talk on the Pleasures and Perils of Public Speaking, and a talk Chipping Campden Town Walks by Ann Colcomb. The club has a very strong membership but new members are always welcome. The next meeting will be Wednesday, March 15 at 2.30pm in the Willersey Village Hall.
