GOTHIC fairytale Edward Scissorshands makes a smooth transition from silver to screen to stage at the Birmingham Hippodrome all week.

The tale follows a shy, sensitive creature (the creation of a kindly mad scientist) with scissors for hands, who gets lost in the flashy shallowness of suburbia has been a smash hit across the world.
Bourne has a proven track record in Birmingham, after working on the successful Swan Lake, Nut Cracker and award winning Play Without Words.
A five time Olivier award winner, Bourne is also the creator of the worlds longest running ballet production and is the only British director to have won the Tony Award for Best Director and Best Choreographer of a Musical (1999 for Swan Lake).
Edward Scissor Hands runs until Saturday, March 25, and tickets can be bought by calling 0870 7301234, or going to www.birminghamhippodrome.com.
