WYRE Forest Symphony Orchestra will be making the most of the acoustics in a Kidderminster church when it performs on Saturday.
The concert will take place at St Mary's Church at 7.30pm and the group, which has around 50 members, will be performing the overture to Rossini's Thieving Magpie, Brahms's St Anthony Variations and Hungarian Dances and Schumann's Symphony No. 3 The Rhenish.
Last year, the orchestra marked its 30th anniversary and Elizabeth Lammie, the group's publicity officer, said the celebrations, which included a concert at St John's Church, Kidderminster in December, had been successful.
Members will perform at a summer concert, which will be held at Kidderminster Town Hall on Saturday, June 10 and at the Safari Proms event at West Midland Safari Park on Saturday, July 8.
