HOUSE prices in the Worcester area fell back slightly during January, as agreed sales suffered their largest fall in six months.
According to the latest housing market survey from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, buyer enquiries levelled out for the second consecutive month, but would-be purchasers are now starting to return as confidence in the market begins to improve.
More than 60 per cent of chartered surveyors reported that prices stayed the same in January, down 20 per cent points on the previous month.
However, market confidence is holding up well, and activity is expected to rise in the coming months.
