TWO Worcestershire pubs are outshining their competitors in an innovative awards scheme.
The Fir Tree at Dunhampstead, near Droitwich and the White Hart at Fernhill Heath, near Worcester, have been nominated for Shine awards by Punch Taverns in recognition of exceptional standards in licensed retailing.
The Fir Tree, where Martin and Tracy Perrins are licensees, and the White Hart, under licensee Jim Goodwin, were both shortlisted for the Best Food Experience category. The overall winner will be announced in May.
