MARCH & Edwards Solicitors, which is based in Worcester, is expanding. The practice in Sansome Walk has recently taken on two new partners in addition to the appointment of Guy Salter just over a year ago.

Mr Salter practises in the field of employment law and property litigation and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.

Jayne Joseph (nee Davies) and Philip Mullins became partners at the beginning of the year. Mrs Joseph practises family law while Mr Mullins deals with commercial and residential property work. Mrs Joseph's appointment adds to an exciting last few months; she was married in the summer.

Experienced lawyers Stuart Ness and Robert Sprake have recently joined March & Edwards to service the increasing need for detailed legal advice in respect of commercial property and corporate business transactions.

The company was established 72 years ago in the Faithful City. The firm prides itself on its quality of service and advice and puts the client first in all matters. It realises the need to build for the future and has begun to take on trainee solicitors to create a good blend of youth and experience.

Stacey Redman started with the practice in September last year, and another trainee is due to start in the Autumn.

Michael Huskinson is the senior partner and is also the Diocesan Registrar. He deals with commercial property matters and ecclesiastical law. Brian O'Connell and Ian Stirzaker - together with Mr Salter - are the other owners of the practice. Mr O'Connell deals with criminal law, employment law and licensing, and also sits as a Deputy District Judge, while Mr Stirzaker's work covers family law and civil litigation. He is the only solicitor in Worcester who is authorised to appear in all courts in England and Wales, including the House of Lords!

The partners are backed by a fully-qualified team that is always ready to give the best possible advice to clients. All the staff live in, or around Worcester, and many were brought up in the area and understand the needs of the local people and businesses.

Solicitors are often considered to be stuffy, humourless characters but March & Edwards offers a friendly, approachable yet professional service to its clients.

The firm acts on behalf of local and regional businesses and also private individuals. Free 30 minutes interviews are available for some kinds of work. The office is in a very convenient location - near to the railway station and the courts - and offers the rare luxury of free parking for clients.

If you are looking for specialist legal advice and value in the heart of the city speak to March & Edwards - it can help.
