Students from Saint Martin's school in Solihull proudly donated £3,000 to Marie Curie Cancer Care following a year of enthusiastic fundraising.
Pupils have participated in a range of activities over the past 12 months, raising money to help patients at the Marie Curie Hospice on Warwick Road, Solihull, which is a stone's throw from Saint Martin's.
Lynn Wood, who accepted the cheque on behalf of Marie Curie Cancer Care, said: "We are delighted with the fantastic fundraising Saint Martin's has done for the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull.
"The girls have also visited the hospice and some have undertaken voluntary work there as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award. The money raised will help us to continue to provide high quality nursing for our patients and support for their families," she added.
Kind-hearted: Emma Jarvis, Lauren Molloy and Emma Welsby with Lynn Wood, of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
