A group of pupils from years four, five and six at Heathfield School entered the ISA Midlands Swimming Championships at Hinckley Leisure Centre.
Pupils from 24 schools took part from all over the Midlands. There were many good individual performances and two Heathfield girls - eight-year-old Francesca Wilkes and Pela Millard, ten - performed so well that they have been selected to represent the Midlands at the National Swimming Championships.
