Finding a new job or embarking on a change of career can be a painful process, but thousands have already found that one way to make it easier is to talk to potential employers at the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair.
Some were looking for their first step on the career ladder, others were seeking a change of direction, but everyone who came to the Worcester News Jobs and Careers Fair got
plenty of advice and information to help them in their quest for the perfect employment.
The event, which took place in the impressive surroundings of the Guildhall, attracted exhibitors ranging from health and recruitment agencies to the armed forces and the police.
The event also aimed to entice a wide range of visitors, from people looking for their first job to older workers who wanted to try something different.
And Sandra Sandon, who was the event co-ordinator for the Worcester News, claimed that is precisely what the fair achieved.
"We believe the event has the best mix of employers for an event like this in Worcestershire. And it showed we offered that by the good cross-section of people who attended," she said.
"We had fabulous feedback from the event, both from exhibitors and also from those attending. This was the first time we have done a second fair in the same year and I am delighted to say that it went really well."
More than 2,000 came along to see what was on offer, and the organisers hope that next time even more jobseekers will find out how invaluable the fair can be for their future prospects.
