BRIGHT new talent is being sought to don the most famous uniform in the entertainment industry, the Butlins Redcoat.
The famous entertainers have looked after holidaymakers since Butlins opened its first site at Skegness in 1936. The role of the Redcoats has developed alongside the resorts themselves and today offers a great grounding in live entertainment.
Today the role gives youngsters the chance to learn entertainment skills such as live stage performances, street entertainment, circus skills, urban street dance, DJ-ing and even working alongside characters such as Bob the Builder or Butlins own cuddly character Billy Bear.
If you fancy being a Redcoat turn up at The City Inn, Brunswick Square, Brindleyplace, Birmingham, at 10am on Monday, February 27.
During the initial interview, Butlins are looking for outgoing personalities and a "can do" attitude.
