GIFFORD - FITZ-HARRIS

The wedding of Mags Gifford and Neil Fitz-Harris took place at St Peter, St Paul & St Elizabeth Church, Coughton Court, on June 19. The bride travelled to the church with her two dads, Frank Bonnar and Malcolm Gifford, and was attended by her sister Fiona Taylor. The groom, who chose best friend Adrian Cox as best man, arrived in a 335 Ferrari Spyder which had been arranged by his fiance as a surprise. After a drinks reception, meal, entertainment and a disco at Coughton Court, the couple spent their honeymoon chilling out in the Maldives and Dubai.

WROUGHTON - BERRY

Deborah Wroughton, daughter of Lorelly Wheeler of Shenstone and Trevor Wroughton of Powick, married Simon Berry, son of Mr and Mrs E Berry of Bromyard, at St Peter's Church in Bromyard on July 29. The bride was given away by her father and attended by the couple's daughter Olivia Berry and the bride's niece Keira Edge. The groom chose Stuart Yarnold as best man, and Neil Vine and Brian Colley served as ushers. After the reception at The Elms, Abberley, the couple honeymooned in the Channel Islands.

DOWNES - TRIPPETT

Paula Rachael Downes, youngest daughter of Andrew and Cynthia Downes of Hagley, married David John Trippett, eldest son of Christopher and Marie Trippett of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, at the Chapel at Trinity College, Cambridge on July 30, with the ceremony led by college chaplain Rev Arnold Browne. The bride, a singer and music teacher, wore a mediaeval-style dress made by her mother, and was given away by her father who also composed much of the music for the ceremony. She was attended by her sister Anna Price, the groom's sister Elizabeth Trippett, and her cousins Eve and William Holley-Hime. The groom, a PhD student at Harvard University, chose his friend Joe Watton as best man. After a reception at Homerton College, Cambridge, the couple honeymooned in Scotland.

STILL - CARMICHAEL

Fiona Alice Still, only daughter of Trevor and Dorothy Still of Malvern, married Jolyon Ashley Carmichael, elder son of Ashley and Adrienne Carmichael of Inkberrow, at Great Malvern Priory on July 8. The bride was given away by her father, and attended by her sister-in-law Catherine Still, while her niece Imogen Still was flower girl. The groom chose his brother Tristan Carmichael as best man, and the bride's brother Duncan Still served as usher. The reception was held at Corse Lane House Hotel in Gloucestershire.

Holly Anne Smith, elder daughter of James and Barbara Smith of Cookham Dean, Maidenhead, married Thomas Richard James Leather, younger son of Andrew and Elizabeth Leather of Droitwich Spa, at St John the Baptist Church in Cookham Dean on July 23. The bride was given away by her father and attended by her sister Vicki Smith and friends Emma Bailey, Harriet Ryan and flower girl Francesca Palomba. The groom chose two best men - Christopher Willis and Adam Powley, friends from university. The ushers were the groom's brother Benjamin Leather, and cousins of the bride Simon and Ben Smith. The reception was held at Temple Island Meadow, Rememham, Henley-on-Thames, after which the couple honeymooned in Mauritius.
