NUMBER 8 offers a wide programme of film and live events including drama and dance.
It is the home of the Pershore Operative and Dramatic Society (PODS) and there is also a strong local connection with schools and community groups.
It has an impressive frontage onto the High Street and an inviting foyer run by volunteers manning the box office and restaurant which serves light refreshments during the day and becomes a bar at night. The auditorium can seat 250 people and has retractable seats so the area can be hired for trade shows, exhibitions or training events. It has a full film screen and is used as a cinema.
There is a studio that can accommodate up to 20 people with equipment including a 50" plasma screen, TV/video combi and flip chart with tea and coffee facilities.
The Courtyard Room can seat up to 40 people but is also let out for activities like yoga and ballet.
