BIRMINGHAM Royal Ballet presents a mixed programme of The Seasons and Carmina Burana at the Hippodrome.
The company is celebrating David Bintley's 10 years as director and the two pieces will display his versatility as a choreographer.
The Seasons was choreographed by David in 2001 and set to Verdi's ballet music for Les Vepres Siciliennes, drawing inspiration from the changing year.
Contrasting Carmina Burana is set to the famous Carl Orff score, inspired by a collection of bawdy songs and poems written by 13th century monks.
Both pieces run from next Wednesday to Saturday and tickets, priced £12.50-42.50, are available on 0870 730 1234.
