Not just a school but a total education is not just a slogan but a way of working for Holy Trinity, which has been at the heart of the community in Kidderminster for more than 100 years.
Since 1903 it has been combining high academic standards with a commitment to offer a full range of education and learning where students, teachers and parents work in a real partnership.
Continuity is important and this is a school where pupils can start as babes in nursery and remain until they leave sixth form as young ladies ready for further education or to start their careers.
Holy Trinity has girls and boys up to the age of 11 years but then offers single sex education in the senior school through to 16.
The school scored "top marks" in its OfSTED report with the reception class and nursery attaining "very good," the highest grade awarded for education and care.
Academic learning is important and so are a range of other activities that promote personal development and learning. Since the first pool was officially opened in1969, swimming has been important. A successful PE department has been recognised with the lower school achieving the Active Gold Mark Standard and the senior school the National Sports Mark Award.
The school also has an accomplished record in music and the arts as well as undertaking an extensive programme of work with the local community and mind broadening overseas visits.
Holy Trinity lower school provides education for both girls and boys from four to 11 years and the senior school caters for girls from the ages of 11 to 16. Pupils study in an environment that is friendly, overseen by dedicated and professional staff who encourage pupils to be independent and confident.
It has a strong ethos of working very closely with parents who are encouraged to be involved in and support their child's education.
The fruits of this can be seen in the exam results with 100 per cent GCSE passes with half of all passes at A* to B grades. A-level results for 2005 were 98 per cent at grades A* to C.
Holy Trinity School has been ranked 40th out of the top 50 independent schools in the UK at A-level.
