Droitwich Saab has won the coveted Saab Great Britain Regional Dealer of the Year Award in recognition of its outstanding all-round business performance.

This exceptional achievement was announced at the recent National Saab Dealer Conference, which was held at London's Landmark Hotel and attended by all Saab dealer principals and figureheads from Saab Great Britain.

Among them was Jonathan Nash, managing director of Saab Great Britain, who presented dealer principal Andrew Street with the award (pictured) and said: "Our congratulations go out to the staff of Droitwich Saab for the first-class business practices in place within the dealership.

''The commitment to customer satisfaction and enthusiasm for the Saab brand at Droitwich Saab is a credit to Andrew and his team."

Droitwich Saab fought off stiff competition from a network of Saab dealers across the Midlands and Wales to take the regional title, which is awarded every year by Saab Great Britain to the most successful dealership in each of five regions.

In order to determine the best performing dealerships, representatives of Saab Great Britain assess the Saab Dealer Network on a wide range of business disciplines, including areas such as customer care, staff training, after-sales operations, management practices and sales performance. These results are then used to identify areas in which levels of service can be improved to continually meet or exceed customer expectations.

Droitwich Saab scored top marks in the latest round of these Regional Dealer of the Year surveys and met or exceeded every target set by Saab Great Britain for 2005.

"We are thrilled to have received this award," said Andrew Street.

"Our staff have worked exceptionally hard to deliver first-rate customer service and after-sales care, which is reflected in the top marks we received in the assessment.

''We will continue to monitor and, where necessary, modify our business practices to ensure we surpass both the needs of our customers and the targets set by Saab Great Britain. This is a perfect way to end our first year in our new premises. "
