BRIDES-to-be flocked to the Fownes Hotel yesterday for the fifth Worcester News wedding fair.
The venue in Worcester's City Walls Road was packed full of everything needed to ensure the perfect wedding day.
Beautiful string music from the Wigornia Quartet greeted the visitors, who then wandered round gathering inspiration from more than 30 exhibitors showing off everything from fantastic floral displays to bespoke invitations, photographic services and chocolate fountains.
Exhibitor David Chill, owner of Versatility In Print, was displaying more than 100 wedding invitation designs.
"Our most popular invites are the hot-foil printed ones in gold and silver," he said.
"But what is also proving to be sought after are our wedding crackers, which can be filled with favours and made in a colour to match the wedding theme."
Yvonne Parker, owner of Bridal Gallery in Graham Road, Malvern, was proudly showing off her collection of beautiful wedding dresses.
"There is no one design that is the most popular," she said. "We look to be different and that is what brides like - we offer something for everybody."
Visitor and mother-of-the-bride Meryl Cox, of Stourport-on-Severn, said she had been inspired by the variety of stands on offer.
"It's given me and my daughter lot of ideas - things we had never even thought about."
Sara Matthews, wedding fair organiser for the Worcester News, said she had received great feedback from visitors and exhibitors alike.
"We hold the event twice a year now, and each time it just gets better."
