SET in the heart of the historic city of Worcester, Fownes Hotel provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding to remember. The hotel can cater for anything from intimate ceremonies followed by small private dinners to larger ceremonies for up to 100 people and wedding breakfasts for up to 120 guests.
The historic building provides a stunning setting for photographs. There is a specially designed inglenook garden or, a favourite with couples, is the elegant willow tree alongside the peaceful canal that runs alongside the hotel. The large reception area offers the ideal setting for large group, indoor photographs along with a formal setting for individual photographs of the bride and groom.
"At Fownes Hotel, we truly understand that this is one of the most important days in a couples life, so from the moment they arrive our team is on hand to guide and organise their day down to the last detail," said Linda Atwell, business development manager.
"This will be our fifth Wedding Fair organised in conjunction with the Worcester News. Exhibitors will be spread throughout the hotel and visitors will be able to visit stands in the reception area, the John Fownes Suite, the cocktail bar and in the Rendez-Vous wine bar."
Fownes Hotel has 61 en-suite bedrooms - many of which are in the process of being refurbished - including a bridal suite. Some guests choose to spoil themselves, stay overnight and enjoy a relaxing breakfast before travelling home the following day.
Visit the Fownes on Sunday, February 12 and picture your wedding day there. If you reserve and confirm your wedding at The Ultimate Collection you can save £150 off the cost of an evening buffet (minimum numbers apply).
If you are unable to visit on the day, then Linda Atwell and her team would be delighted for you to arrange an appointment to discuss requirements.
