Photographing one of the most mACemorable days of your life is not a task you give to someone lightly.
That's something John Foley at The Picture Box understands and with twenty years experience behind the lens he has been trusted by countless happy couples to record their day with care and attention.
"I never forget how perfect my photographs have to be," said John. "It is so important to understand exactly what people want from their photographs so a lot of my job is about meeting with and listening to the bride and groom prior to the day."

"The relationship you have with members of the wedding party is key to getting the right pictures so I like to make sure I become almost part of the family on the day, not obtrusive in anyway."
With two decades in the business, John has seen things change over the years.
"I have a lot of requests for the more modern, relaxed style of photography now, which makes a wonderfully informal record of the day," he said. "Many brides have a mixture of the formal style with modern too. I've even take shots of the groom giving the bride a piggy back down the street, dress and all."
From his studio in Bewdley, John meets with people to discuss their requirements in depth and has even had commissions from Wales and the Isle of Wight. "I like to think of myself as a flexible friend, I can photograph the wedding or be asked to stay on a capture the highlights of the reception and beyond."
