If the festive season puts you in the mood to do your bit for charity, then why not do a little something for Mary Stevens Hospice?
This Oldswinford-based hospice offers free care to life-limited patients and their families from in and around Dudley borough.
For an easy way to contribute, why not order your Christmas cards from the hospice?
Phone the order hotline on 01384 860011, or pop into one of the hospice shops.
Or brighten the memory of someone you miss by sponsoring a light on the hospice Christmas Tree, which will be lit on Wednesday December 7 at 7pm as part of the Light Up a Life Appeal.
Or, if you can spare an evening, you could join the Moonlight Memories Walk in Mary Stevens Park, which ends with a candlelit vigil and carols around the bandstand.
The 5km sponsored walk of remembrance takes place on Saturday December 17 at 5pm.
Head of fundraising, Joy Cartwright, said: "Registration for the walk is just £5 (£3 for children) and this includes a goody bag containing a torch, memory bag (for the vigil) and some surprise goodies.
"We're asking walkers to raise a minimum of £50 in sponsorship, and are encouraging people to dress in festive costume for the event."
